How to have your data removed from mc-dm

mc-dm is a private tool operated by a single person for their own Instagram account. It keeps a local record of comments that triggered an automated reply and of the replies that were sent.

To request deletion

Email [email protected], or send a direct message containing the words delete my data to the Instagram account you interacted with. Include the username you commented from.

What happens next

• Every stored comment, username, Instagram-scoped ID, sent message, and click record associated with you is deleted from the local database.
• Nothing is retained in backups beyond the deletion date.
• You will receive a confirmation reply once it is done.

You can also remove this app's access yourself at any time from Instagram: Settings and privacy → Apps and websites → Remove. Doing so stops all future data collection immediately.
